Every Wednesday and Thursday, children ages three to six and their adult caregivers come to the Michener to learn about the artwork in the galleries and to create works of their own in the class, Learning to Look and Listen. This video shows part of one lesson taught by Ruth Anderson, Director of Youth and Family Programs, who has seen this class grow over the years and is passionate about the program. In speaking to one father in the class the morning I was taking this video, he mentioned, “it is a hidden gem” in Doylestown. Of course, we love to hear that about our programs!
